[edit] What is Scrubs?
Scrubs is a TV show which includes excellent comedy, acting, and storylines. Browse our database of Scrubs episodes and characters.
[edit] Which characters and actors should we make pages for?
Unless someone really devoted, and I mean re-he-he-heally devoted comes along, we should only make pages for characters who have names and speaking roles. One-liners are questionable. Only make actor pages if the character deserves a page.
[edit] Was there ever any update on Dr. Cox's friend's son that supposedly had autism?
Was there ever any update on the man's son who had autism, they kind of hinted they would revisit it.
- No, after that episode ("My Roommates"), nothing is ever heard about them, its assumed that he will have gone to the specialist Dr. Cox recommended.
[edit] How do I create a user page for myself?
You must be registered with Wikia to create a user page, and you have to create a new user page for each Wikia wiki. Once you are logged in, click on your ID at the very top of the page to access your user page. Have fun!
[edit] How do I create a Talk page for a specific article or section?
At the top of each article there are several tabs. Click on the "discussion" tab to access the talk page for any article, template, or user page.
[edit] I rewrote the synopsis for "My Hero". Is it now too long?
Don't be afraid to make them long. If someone is reading the synopsis of an article, they are probably looking for a specific fantasy or plot point. The easiest way to keep it short is to make it "not wordy".
[edit] One of the fantasies listed for "My Hero" wasn't in the rerun on Comedy Central. Is it just a mistake?
Syndicated reruns can be altered. Original broadcasts and DVD versions are the way the episodes were intended to be seen, so the articles should be based off of those. Mistakes do happen though!
[edit] What are the acronyms used for describing people?
I'm not exactly certain what is meant by this question, but this site is a great resource for any questions about medical abbreviations and acronyms. Also, My T.C.W. deals with a T.C.W., or "Tasty Coma Wife". The second Scrubs: Interns webisode titled Our Meeting with J.D. also explains many acronyms.
[edit] To this day (January 9, 2008), are they still filming on the Sacred Hospital set?
To the extent of my knowledge, all of the episodes have been recorded. I come to this conclusion based on an interview I read with Bill Lawrence explaining that Zach Braff had to keep his beard for the entire season because the Courteney Cox scenes were shot when they were making episodes near the finale. I also have read casting buzz about who will and won't be in the finale. That said, I think they are finished filming. Since there is still a possibility for a 9th season and because they are probably still working on post-production with the episodes, they are still using the building.
- UPDATE: The set of Sacred Heart will not be used for Season Nine. It may be used in the first handful of episodes though to transition.
[edit] Will there be a ninth season? Where do you go to get cast as an extra on Scrubs?
As of now, ABC has not ordered a ninth season of Scrubs. The ratings for My Jerks and My Last Words are up in all demographics from Season Seven. Bill Lawrence, Zach Braff and Judy Reyes are leaving the show after this season, but this doesn't mean the show will necessarily end.
- UPDATE: There will be a Season Nine! If you haven't heard by now, it will be a drastic change from what Scrubs has been these past eight years.
As for becoming an extra, you may want to ask either a talent agent or extra agency. This site documents one man's guest appearance on the show, but doesn't provide too much information on how he got the role. Scrubs Wiki is not affiliated with Doozer, ABC, NBC, or any other aspect of the show.
[edit] In which episode does Elliot not have Turk's number in her phone, causing him to get upset?
That would be My Cabbage. If you need any help finding other information like this, try using the search feature on this Wiki! See: Scrubs Wiki:Searching
[edit] Is there or will there ever be Joshua Radin's version of the Sesame Street theme tune from My ABC's out for the public?
Not that I know of. The song is very effective at the end of the episode and would be a great song to listen to (especially if you were a fan of the Street.)
[edit] What is the episode when J.D. has an opera singer warn him when he is about to make a mistake?
My New Coat, an episode of season two. I easily found this by searching for "opera singer". The search is a great tool, try it out!
[edit] I have a good idea for the logo.Is it alright if I change it? If so please tell me how to change it.
For any major changes to Scrubs Wiki, please ask an administrator (or me).
[edit] I need to find out what company makes the big red toy phone from My White Whale that Dr. Norris used. Please help!
Because Scrubs Wiki is not associated with the production of Scrubs, we do not know where all of their props and costumes originate. Because Scrubs is produced by ABC Studios, they probably have access to a large quantity of props, or it could have been made specifically by the props department for the episode. I don't really have an answer for you, but perhaps a couple strategic Google searches could help.
