In 1998, Paul wrote, directed, and produced the film This is My Father. Before that, he appeared in some small films voiced a video game. He then directed episodes of the series Sherlock Holmes in the 20th Century and wrote, produced, and directed Never Get Outta the Boat, which won him several awards. His upcoming project, Good Ol' Boy was written, directed, and produced by him as well.
