In 1998, Michael appeared in his first television show, Night Man. Since then he has appeared in the series Fraiser, Monk, Saved, ER, Psych and Welcome to the Captain. He has held recurring roles in the series Six Feet Under, ER, Law & Order: SVU, and House M.D.. Michael has also appeared in the films The Dukes of Hazard, Looking for Sunday and Pathology, as well as appearing in Zach Braff's The Last Kiss and Garden State.
