Growing up in California, Markie started her acting career as a model on gameshows such as Cardsharks. She has since appeared in the series The Incredible Hulk, Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, Hearts Afire, The District, and Ghost Whisperer. Markie had recurring roles in the series The Fall Guy and Night Court where she appeared in over 50 episodes each. Markie has also appeared in many television films.
