J.D. is called many girl names, mostly by Dr. Cox. Occasionally others join in the fun and call him a girl's name too. Dr. Cox once offered to never call J.D. a girl's name again, but J.D. declined. ("My Point of No Return") Cox has revealed that Mondays are ethnic names. ("My Cake")
Additionally, in "My Karma", Cox calls him literally "Girl's Name". In another episode, Dr. Cox refers to J.D. as "Wonder Bra".
* The girls names in these episodes may have been referring to another character. They are usually used as pairs, such as when Dr. Cox calls J.D. and Turk "Laverne and Shirley".
** This name was given to J.D. during one of J.D.'s fantasies, not in actuality.
