Kit worked as an assistant to writers for the series Roseanne where she appeared in an episode in 1997. She then went on to appear in episodes of 8 Simple Rules, Yes, Dear, Reba, Gilmore Girls, Still Standing, Rodney, My Boys, and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Kit can also be seen in the films Loudmouth Soap, Invisible, and Weather Girl
