Jackie Wheeler and her husband Randy Wheeler are good friends of Dr. Cox and Jordan. When they were admitted to Sacred Heart on Christmas to deliever their baby, Dr. Cox had J.D. videotape the birth. J.D. made a mistake and didn't actually record the birth, and Dr. Cox had to film another birth to lie to the Wheelers.
