[edit] Synopsis
This episode is narrated by Turk. Dr. Cox picks J.D. to help him in research, but he quickly regrets this, and Lonnie is made his partner. Since J.D. already has his shifts covered, he has nothing to do, and the narration switches to Turk. Turk is about to mail in the invitations to his wedding, but doesn't due to J.D. saying that "after Turk turns those suckers in, there's no turning back". Turk has to operate on Brian, but introduces himself childishly, much to the displeasure of his attending. Turk learns that Brian is a pianist and that he has a scholarship for this, which is why it is especially bad that due to a complication Turk made in surgery, that Brian cannot play the piano. At first, Turk doesn't admit that it was his fault, but he eventually does. Turk's narration ends with him mailing the invitations.
Meanwhile, Elliot talks to Sean and says that she wishes he was with her. J.D. then meets Elliot, and he tells her that he is going to jump Jones' Creek on his bike (a dare from local kids), and Elliot is sad that she cannot perform as the clown in Pediatrics. Elliot then meets Mrs. Bell, a beautiful woman with a portly husband. J.D. helps Elliot and appears as the clown in her place, but he does a poor job and it turns out that the Janitor is also a clown, and he systematically abuses him. When Elliot learns from her patient that a good man is there for you when you don't ask and that J.D. was the clown for her, she has sex with J.D., before Sean walks in right after. Sean explains that he could tell Elliot needed him, and she abruptly runs off with him, leaving J.D. in the apartment alone.
Kelso invites Dr. Miller (Turk's attending) to an administrators lunch, but Dr. Cox doesn't want her to go, starting yet another war between the two, which ends in her going to the lunch but not caring about either one's opinion.
