Sanchez is a magpie that at one time inhabited Sacred Heart Hospital. He got his name from the Janitor, who got very fond of him. Janitor was ordered by Dr. Kelso to get rid of the bird, and had to fake Sanchez's death in order to save his life. He then released him into the wild. ("My Cabbage")

- Sanchez obviously is very intelligent. Janitor speaks Spanish with him, and he actually understands everything he tells him, including stealing a pen from J.D., flying into the right room (136) and acting like a stuffed bird.
