Mindy Sterling was born in Paterson, New Jersey and began her acting career in 1979 when she appeared in her first TV show. She became a member of the Groundlings Improv group in 1984 and began appearing in more and more TV shows and movies. She has acted in nearly 100 productions, spanning 30 years. One of Mindy's most known role is as Frau Farbissina in the Austin Powers trilogy. She has also held recurring guest roles on many TV shows including iCarly, Hidden Hills, Manhattan AZ, Robot Chicken, My Own Worst Enemy, and Chowder, among others. She can also be seen in the movies How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Spider-man 2, Ice-Age: The Meltdown, and Drop Dead Gorgeous.
