Bio[]
Jay Leno began his comedy career performing in comedy clubs. The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson in 1977, and appeared on both Carson's show and David Letterman's Late Night several times before taking control of The Tonight Show in 1992. He has appeared in a handful of movies and TV series, usually as himself. In 2009 he stepped down from the Tonight Show and had a daily prime time show for a short time while Conan O'Brien took over the Tonight Show but in 2010 he went back to his old show and O'Brien left NBC.
Leno is an avid classic car collector and often attends races and exhibitions.
