In order to get a couple more days for his honeymoon, Turk worked an extra shift on his wedding day. He was scheduled to be able to complete Mr. Fitzpatrick's apendetamy in time, but he and Dr. Miller found a problem during the surgery and were forced to stay late and fix it. Because of this, Turk missed his wedding. He and Carla checked in with Mr. Fitzpatrick before heading off to their honeymoon, and they found out he was a pastor. He wed them in his hospital room.
