[edit] About
Dr. Benson was Dr. Cox's mentor when he was an intern at Sacred Heart. When Dr. Benson is admitted to Sacred Heart due to an infection, Dr. Cox wants to take care of him. He also tries to show off J.D. to him. When Dr. Kelso tries to discharge Dr. Benson, Cox gets upset. One hour later, Dr. Benson crashes, and Dr. Kelso drains fluid from him. He then uses Dr. Cox's words as his own - that he shouldn't leave until he wants to. Later, Dr. Cox tapes the discharge form with "Never Stop Kicking Me" to Dr. Kelso's back and Dr. Benson finds it. Benson gets upset at Kelso, but he also gets upset with Cox for not understanding how to accept things he doesn't want to.
