Scrubs ran for 181 episodes and released 12 webisodes. Episodes of the TV series originally aired on NBC and ABC from 2001 to 2010 and are currently available to be viewed in syndication, on DVD, and streamed online.

Episode titles from Seasons One to Eight begin with "My" as they are nearly all narrated by J.D.. Episodes not narrated by J.D., beginning in Season Two, start with "His", "Her", or "Their" Story. "Story" episodes start being narrated by J.D., and switch to another character's narration. Episodes from Season Nine begin with "Our" as they feature multiple narrators and signal the major change that occurred in the series' ninth year.
