Episode titles from Seasons One to Eight begin with "My" as they are nearly all narrated by J.D. . Episodes not narrated by J.D., beginning in Season Two, start with "His", "Her", or "Their" Story . "Story" episodes start being narrated by J.D., and switch to another character's narration. Episodes from Season Nine begin with "Our" as they feature multiple narrators and signal the major change that occurred in the series' ninth year.
