Arthur was a patient at New Sacred Heart Hospital.
Arthur, more commonly referred to as "Art" was admitted to New Sacred Heart Hospital for an injured shoulder. He knew Dr. Cox and Turk from another stay at Sacred Heart, but had not been back since they were promoted to Chief of Medicine and Chief of Surgery. Turk and Perry enjoyed Art's company and referred to him as a legend because he had been selling peanuts at the ball park for 40 years. Art brought peanuts with him to the hospital. While discussing treatment options, the two doctors debated over physical therapy or surgery. After deciding on PT, Art's Scan revealed he had a tumor. Art told Turk that he wanted surgery, but Turk told Perry that it was too risky. Perry pulled rank and made Turk do the risky surgery. Art ended up dying in surgery. ("Our Couples")
