Aaron Simon was a patient at Sacred Heart. He was an influential member of the Sacred Heart Hospital's board of directors.

Aaron was a very mean patient, causing one nurse--Frank, an ex-navy seal, to cry. He was disrespectful to Carla and frightened J.D.. When he died, J.D. wondered if it was because he didn't spend time checking in on him because he was afraid of him. At a Morbidity and Mortality conference, J.D. was passed without any blame.
